I like it. I can definitely see this as a red and gold pin on officers’ cloaks. Maybe the Empress keeps a personal guard who have this as a huge tattoo. If they do anything to displease the Empress she has the ink flayed from their flesh.
That would work, although I am not sure she is that bloodthirsty… I’m actually working on her profile.
